Description:

This is a key role in the programmatic team for the UK’s leading parenting media owner, Mumsnet. We’re looking for a junior programmatic operations specialist with strong analytical skills to support and grow our programmatic advertising opportunities.

You’ll play a hands-on role in managing PMP/PG deals, troubleshooting technical issues, supporting data analysis, and contributing to key business projects such as audience targeting, ID solutions, consent management, and ad product development. This is a fantastic opportunity to build your expertise in the evolving programmatic landscape.

  • Programmatic Management: Assist in managing, monitoring, and optimising PMP/PG deals.
  • Partnership Coordination: Set up and organise meetings with partners, sharing updates on key product and demand opportunities.
  • Project Roadmap Maintenance: Contribute to maintaining our programmatic project roadmap and internal documentation.
  • Data Analysis & Maintenance: Support ad data requests, clean data sets, and assist with ongoing data analysis.
  • Implementation & Monitoring: Help check implementations, report issues, and troubleshoot ad-related technical problems.
  • Financial Support: Collaborate with the finance team to address billing discrepancies and provide support on revenue-related matters.
  • Reporting & Stakeholder Support: Generate ad hoc reports for the team, wider organisation, and senior stakeholders.

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will bring a blend of operational and analytical skills and have foundational experience in programmatic advertising, either on the buy or sell side. Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Experience:

    • Background in programmatic operations with an understanding of PG, PMPs, and programmatic advertising.
  • Proficiency with Google Ad Manager.
  • Familiarity with partner or account management.
  • Experience with data analysis, particularly using BI tools.
  • Skills:

    • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proficient with Excel and Google Suite (especially in pivot tables and charts).

    • Strong analytical and commercial skills.
    • Excellent communicator able to work well across teams and with external partners.

    NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS (NOT REQUIRED)

    • Hands-on experience with wrapper or other on-site adunit troubleshooting
    • Familiarity with site analytics tools: e.g. Google analytics or Amplitude
    • Exposure to data visualisation platforms like Data Studio, Looker, or Adomik.
    • Understanding of publisher yield tactics and metrics (e.g., SPO, dynamic pricing, rCPM).
    • Who we are Mumsnet is the UK’s biggest website for parents, and our purpose is to make their lives easier. We’ve got some of the busiest forums in Europe, with users offering each other advice and support 24/7, plus editorial content, reviews, campaigns and tools. We aim to be the UK’s go-to brand for parents, and - for our staff - a great place to work.
