Description:

We are Canada’s largest independent information technology services firm, and after 45 years, we’re still growing! Join Canada’s largest IT Company as a ‘Project Control Officer’ in our Banking Services Division.
This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto and/or Client office at a minimum 3 days per week - subject to change at any time.

Responsibilities:

YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages the environmental donations mailbox, ensuring timely response to inquiries, either directly or by triaging to the appropriate environmental impact team member.
  • Undertakes initial screening of applications received for eligibility and completeness and flags them for review by appropriate manager/senior manager.
  • Undertakes due diligence for applications under review, including validation of charitable/non-profit status, financial analysis, and other considerations, as directed, ensuring detailed documentation.
  • Supports key administrative steps in the grant management process, such as grant approvals and declines, project payments, interim/final reports, budget reconciliation, ensuring all are processed/received in a timely fashion and appropriately input into Smart Simple.
  • Assists with portfolio analysis, grant data requests and other inquiries/undertakings as directed.
  • Organizes and helps to manage the environmental shared drive, ensuring documents are orderly and filed appropriately.
  • Provides support for community activations, communications, and employee engagement and learning opportunities associated with the net-zero economy ambition area, as directed.
  • Supports portfolio-level disclosures for external reporting and internal stakeholders including for enterprise sustainability and climate reporting and reporting to Board of Directors
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Program administrative experience across platforms
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly with Excel.
  • Experience with databases, ideally related to customer and/or grant management.
  • Self-starter with ability to prioritize competing demands
  • Innovative problem–solver and caring customer-service approach

Nice to have:

  • Background in environment/sustainability/ESG and/or experience in the not-for-profit or philanthropic sector
  • Bilingual / Working proficiency in French
