Description:
SUMMARY
The Chemical Cleaning Jr. Engineer is responsible for supporting various on-site chemical cleaning projects. This position requires working as a crew member in Chemical Cleaning staff as well as some interaction with our clients on-site.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical) from an accredited university;
- Previous Industrial Chemical Cleaning experience is an asset;
- Excellent interpersonal skills; effective verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to build and maintain working relationships through a constantly changing environment;
- Demonstrated positive leadership approach;
- High degree of resourcefulness, flexibility and adaptability;
- Strong dedication to health and safety in the workplace;
- An ability to communicate effectively with employees of all levels within the organization;
- An ability to negotiate and mediate conflict;
- Highly self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with minimal guidance;
- Proven ability to make sound decisions in high pressure situations, on budget and within deadline;
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
- Ability to coach, performance manage, lead, motivate, and manage to outcomes;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

Responsibilities:
- Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following and ensuring compliance of policies and processes, Job walks, tender and proposal preparation, costs estimates and shutdown planning.
- Logistical support and planning of personnel, equipment and materials required for each project.
- Supervise and execute the set-up and installation of the equipment required for each project.
- Operate equipment and supervise Chemical Cleaning personnel on each project.
- Troubleshoot as required during each project.
- Complete post-job reports as required following each project.
- Equipment maintenance following each project.
- Extensive travel (mostly within Canada) for projects and turnarounds at client sites.
