POSITION SUMMARY:

As the Junior Project Manager – Design & Construction, you will be a key member of the Construction & Design team, reporting directly to VP of Design & Construction. You will have the opportunity to manage new restaurant builds and reimage projects for our brands, working with franchisees, vendors, contractors, and our team to create spaces that facilitate extraordinary guest experiences!

In This Role, You Will:

  • Manage new build, reimage and resale construction projects; responsible for creating, updating, tracking and maintaining all relevant information including quotes, invoices, status reports and schedule documentation through project pre-development, construction, and completion phases
  • Prepare and coordinate project documents and consultants drawings for RFQ’s, Tenders, Bid Summaries, quotes, invoices etc.
  • Maintain regular communication and working relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective coordination of construction activities, including site visits
  • Research local municipal codes and regulations for selected market areas and active construction projects, and work with the city officials on permits, occupancies, etc.
  • Act as resource for building/fire/health/liquor license inspections when required
  • Review and manage contractor Construction Execution Plans, work scopes and schedules, including cost control, change orders, site progress, and payments
  • Coordinate equipment, signage and IT/POS/AV for openings
  • Complete final construction walk-through, and follow through to completion
  • Coordinate and supervise Landlord’s premises improvement projects, as necessary, and ensure they are administered according to lease schedules
  • Any other duties assigned by VP of Design and Construction
  • Heavy travel required with approx. 50% overnight and 25% day depending on the candidate’s and project locations
