We are looking for a Junior QA Analyst to help grow our business and contribute to our future.

As a Junior QA Analyst you will work closely with the development team and Business Analysts to assure the quality of our software. The successful candidate will possess excellent knowledge of software quality principles, methods, and tools. The ideal candidate will have some experience in a QA capacity and will be highly motivated to work in a fast moving environment. Reporting to QA Manager, other highlights include:

• Developing and implementing test specifications, test plans and use cases
• Testing web, mobile and desktop applications
• Automating tests using tools such as Cypress
• Involved in all aspects of testing from test design to test execution
• Disciplined reporting, tracking, and resolution of all defects.
• Re-testing defect fixes and regression testing

What you’ll need:

• ISTQB (or equivalent) Foundation Level certification is desirable but not essential
• A minimum of 1 year manual software testing experience
• Degree in a computer science is essential
• Experience in test case development and execution is essential
• Clear understanding of software development lifecycle
• Some SQL experience would be an advantage
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI
• Test Automation experience an advantage (Cypress)
• Good problem solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Ability to interpret user requirements, detailed technical and functional specs and ability to apply this information to plan, develop and execute test cases and scripts
• Proactive, willingness to take the initiative and assume responsibility where necessary
