THE PERSON:

• 1 - 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance and testing software platforms.
• SAP Commerce (Hybris) experience preferred.
• Experience working with e-commerce payment gateways.
• Ability to accurately plan and scope tasks and projects.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall SDLC methodologies.
• Knowledge of SDLC, STLC and Defect Life Cycle.
• Rigorous understanding of Agile Methodologies.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technological challenges.
• Experience with test management tools like JIRA and Zephyr.
• Strong attention to detail, problem solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to organize and work under pressure while ensuring quality.
• A pro-active approach to problem solving.
• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• ISTQB Foundation Level Certification.
• Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman.Knowledge of SQL.

THE ROLE:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our growing Digital team and assist in initiatives for Digital Transformation projects.
The role of the Junior Quality Assurance Engineer in FitFlop will be a key part of the Agile team that drives our Digital-First company operating model and will be responsible for performing software quality assurance and functional test activities on large-scale and/or technically complex projects. This role typically involves partnering closely with business analysts and software engineers to fully understand system functionalities and data for both new and legacy systems.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
• Developing Test Cases: Create test cases that meet agreed quality standards.
• Requirement Analysis and Test Planning: Participate in requirement analysis and create test plans.
• Executing Testing Activities: Write, execute test cases and document results in reports.
• Defect Management: Identify, log and track bugs in JIRA until resolved.
• Risk and Issue Communication: Report risks and issues to the Project Manager and team.
• Regression Testing: Ensure existing functionality works after changes.
• Collaboration with Automation Testing Team: Work closely with the Automation Testing Team to ensure functionality is covered with automation tests and included in the automation regression suite.
• Web Accessibility Testing: Conduct web accessibility testing using relevant tools and report results.
• UAT Testing and features Sign-off: Perform UAT testing and provide features sign-off within the release cadence.
• Internal Support and Issue Management: Provide internal support by investigating reported issues, documenting findings and assigning them to the relevant team members for resolution.
• Agile Environment Collaboration: Work effectively in a fast-paced Agile environment.Agile Methodologies: Understand and apply Agile principles in daily tasks.
