Winstead PC is seeking a 2-3 year attorney for a position with our Real Estate group in Austin. This position will primarily work on matters associated with the financing, acquisition, development and leasing of commercial real estate both in Texas and nationally. This is a growth position with a clear path toward advancement within the firm. The position is within a collaborative and interactive practice in our Austin office, and involves aspects of both Real Estate Development work and Real Estate Finance work. We are seeking a junior associate with exposure to real estate transactions and the desire to be cross-trained in multiple real estate disciplines (developments, investments, and finance). The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:

• Real Estate Transactions: Experience with the acquisition, disposition, financing and development of commercial real estate.
• AmLaw 200 Experience: Familiarity with the pace and expectations of sophisticated law firm work.
• Strong academics: Candidates should be able to provide a transcript from a top tier law school.
• Writing skills: Candidates should be proficient at complex legal drafting.
