Description:
THE POSITION
As an important part of the Junior School Student Wellbeing Team the Junior School Counselling Team is working to support the social and emotional development of the Junior School students. In collaboration with the Junior School Principal, the Counselling Team works to ensure that efficient and effective systems are in place to support students’ social and emotional and developmental needs with the aim of fostering student resilience and personal skills development. Our School Counsellors work to promote student success, provide preventive services, and respond to identified student needs.
The ideal candidate for this position holds a bachelor’s degree or equivalent. A master’s degree in Guidance and Counselling or a related field is highly desirable.
