Junior/Senior Bookkeeper

National Mechanical Air Ltd is searching for an experienced in-house Bookkeeper for our office in Scarborough. Our team is a small group of results-driven professionals who work in the HVAC industry.
Your Role:
- Post and reconcile accounts receivable and payables to the appropriate general ledger account
- Investigate and resolve account discrepancies
- Prepare customer invoices and resolve payment discrepancies
- Prepare, process and distribute various payment methods
- Create and maintain new and existing vendor accounts
- Reconcile accounts receivable aging reports, receivable ledger and accounts payables
- Prepare month end and year end reporting and preparation
- Assist with audit process
- Prepare payroll for approximately 6-8
- Extremely detail oriented, accurate and organized
- Fluent in speaking and writing English
- Ability to effectively communicate with diverse groups
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Filing remittances for Source deductions, GST/HST, WSIB and Union
- Minimum 3-5 years advanced experience with QuickBooks Desktop
- Proficient in spreadsheets and MS Office
- Strong reporting skills
Casual dress
On-site parking
3-5 days per week, up to 24 – 40 hours per week
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $35,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
