Junior Site Supervisor/ Leading Hand

Pensar is looking for a Leading Hand or Junior Supervisor to join our team and play a key role in completing upcoming projects across various locations. This is an excellent opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and progress your career in construction management.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of assigned construction projects, working on a travel-based roster.
• Transition to independently manage projects upon gaining experience.
• Provide leadership and guidance to construction crews on-site.
• Ensure all projects meet the highest standards for safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, task allocation, and resource management.
• Complete and maintain all required paperwork, including SWMS, ITPs, quality control documents, and pre-start meetings.
• Conduct regular inspections and ensure proper record-keeping.

You are a great fit if you have:

• Experience in laying pipes, conduits, and other utilities.
• A strong background in civils and bulk shaping.
• Experience with concrete work, including slabs and driveways.
• Familiarity with manholes, pump stations, and basic mechanical fit-out of pipework.
• Experience with installing platforms & pipe supports
• Trade qualification in Carpentry or Plumbing (other trades may be considered).
• Proficiency in operating excavators, bobcats, forklifts, rollers, and other construction equipment.
• Essential safety tickets: White Card, Confined Space, Working at Heights.
• A dogman or intermediate rigger certification (preferred).
• Experience with project/construction management (diploma or certificate a plus, but not mandatory).
• Willingness to work away on a roster requiring travel (essential).
