This is an exciting opportunity to learn hands-on, tackle real-world challenges, and play an important role in maintaining and optimising backend processes that directly impact the business. By implementing new features and enhancing server-side logic, you’ll contribute to improving product performance, increasing operational efficiency, and driving business growth. Your work will support key business objectives and help build scalable solutions that align with our company’s long-term goals.

You will…

  • Assist in the development of high-quality software, working alongside senior engineers to solve technical problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Contribute to delivering maintainable and efficient solutions, learning to consider trade-offs in performance, scalability, and timelines.
  • Gain an understanding of the core features and KPIs of the product, working with senior team members and the Product Manager to help drive product improvements.
  • Learn to navigate on-call environments by supporting high-priority issue resolution, knowing when and how to escalate issues to more senior engineers.

  • You have a strong desire to grow your technical skills, collaborating with your team to improve and gain confidence in solving complex problems.
  • You enjoy working in a team setting, taking responsibility for your contributions, and are open to constructive feedback that helps you and the team grow.
  • You aim to meet high standards for software quality and are eager to understand best practices from your peers and mentors.
  • You are eager to learn about automated testing tools, unit testing, and how to ensure the reliability of your code
  • You are curious and proactive in approaching unfamiliar challenges, and you’re willing to learn from more experienced engineers under pressure.
  • You pay attention to the finer details of your work, eager to develop a thorough understanding of the code you write.
  • You have a keen interest in learning about the investment domain and are excited to apply your engineering skills to this field.
  • You stay curious about technology trends and are open to learning and adopting good practices shared by senior engineers.
