GlobalReach is looking for a Junior Software Engineer. This role will focus on helping to develop new applications as well as supporting existing product suites.
REQUIREMENTS
- 0 - 2 years of professional experience or equivalent college project experience gained through relevant internships or co-op positions
- Basic programming experience
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming, data structures, compiler or interpreter technologies, embedded systems, operating systems, relational databases (RDBMS), scripting and new/advanced programming languages
- Able to work on small projects of limited scope working under the supervision of a more senior team member
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Able to work well with peers in a collaborative team environment
- Knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript is an advantage.
- B.S. degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical course of study required.

- Writing and debugging code
- Troubleshooting software issues
- Working closely with developers to improve product’s functionality
- Developing innovative solutions
- Attending developer meetings
- Participating in code reviews and quality assurance activities
- Participating in estimation discussions with the product team
- Continually improving coding skills
- Working on minor bug fixes
