  • Demonstrate an ability to communicate and work well with others to meet product delivery deadlines
  • Passion for learning and staying updated with evolving technologies
  • Agile working practices

EXPERIENCE THAT WOULD BE DESIRABLE

  • Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs
  • React
  • Serverless
  • Experience working with XML
  • Experience working with JSP and Java applications

Responsibilities:

As a contributor in a hybrid working environment, you will play a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of innovative web applications. Your day-to-day duties will consist of:

  • Supporting and maintaining our legacy products until they’re ready to transition to our new tech offerings .
  • Ensuring code quality by writing test-driven, well-structured, and maintainable code with a focus on performance, security, and best practices.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging issues to provide technical support and guidance to the team.
  • Embracing AI to help gain efficiencies.
  • Leveraging AWS (Amazon Web Services) services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, and S3 to build efficient, cost-effective, and scalable solutions – during your probation you will be given learning time to obtain an AWS Practitioners certification.
  • Collaborating closely with product managers, business analysts, and other engineers to define client requirements, and implement new features and enhancements.
  • Staying up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve our products and development processes.
  • Writing and maintaining documentation.
