USEFUL, BUT NOT ESSENTIALS SKILLS FOR THE POSITION
- Understanding of SQL data and relational database tables with the ability to write TSQL queries.
- Understanding Windows Operating Systems, Active Directory, IIS Configuration of web sites, application pools and web logs
- .Net application configuration and application insights.
- Any experience supporting multiple systems in a busy commercial environment.
- Any knowledge of Azure Dev ops and Azure hosting environments would also be useful.

Responsibilities:
JOB PURPOSE
- Learn to support complex and bespoke web and windows based applications.
- To provide software support to our internal and external users & ensure the stability of our services.

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handling and solving tickets raised by the business within agreed SLA’s. Updating our service desk system with progress of user tickets.
- Participate proactively in daily stand-up meetings, informing the development team of potential problems
- Collaborative working with Service Desk, Developers, QA’s, and Business Analysts, maintaining the security, integrity and confidentiality of data and information
- Debugging problems, querying data tables, application log and event logs.
