Job Description
Lely has very innovative solutions for dairy farmers, such as the Astronaut milking robot. The Technical Service Support (TSS) department provides worldwide technical support to the 11 Lely Clusters (country organizations) and approximately 200 Lely Centers (sales & service points). As a (Junior) Solutions Engineer for the TSS Milking team, you will mainly be working with the Astronaut and other products within the Milking portfolio.
As part of the Long Term Impact team, you will focus on projects that have a duration of more than 6 months. This includes, among other things, the validation of new machines and (validation of) improvements to existing machines, as well as strategic long-term projects such as improving the way technicians perform preventive and corrective maintenance on the milking robots. You will collect relevant data, analyze it, and possibly develop new ways to convert this data into advice and actions for colleagues in the field.
You will work closely with various disciplines within Lely headquarters, Clusters, and Lely Centers, such as colleagues from the software team, data, product development, and proposition management to implement structural adjustments and test ideas and outcomes in practice. Good project management and stakeholder management skills are important here.

Qualifications
You have an affinity with the agricultural sector and an interest in technology. You possess strong analytical skills, are persistent, and can maintain a good overview in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Furthermore, you have:

• Higher professional/university level of working and thinking
• Relevant experience in analyzing and advising based on data, preferably in a technical environment
• Experience with project-based work
• You are currently living in the Netherlands and have excellent English language skills (spoken and written). Knowledge of the Dutch language is a plus.
