Responsibilities:

  • Food Safety: Support the Head Chef/Sous Chef in maintaining compliance and retaining our 5-star food hygiene rating.
  • Culinary Skills: Demonstrate expertise in fresh food and cooking techniques, adhering to company specs.
  • Health & Safety: Follow all health and safety procedures in line with company policies.
  • Stock Control: Assist with stock control, stock takes, food orders, and daily deliveries.
  • Teamwork: Work independently and as part of the wider kitchen team, taking ownership of your area while ensuring smooth operations.
  • Versatility: Support different kitchen sections as needed, with a thorough understanding of our full menu.
  • Leadership: Work closely with senior chefs to learn about kitchen management and promote a positive team spirit. Lead the kitchen in the absence of senior chefs, striving to exceed guest expectations.
