£29,722 TO £33,293 PER ANNUM (DEPENDING ON SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE)

The Catering Department at Churchill College currently operates 7 days a week, catering for around 1000 covers per day via its Cafeteria & Banquet operation. Term time Catering sees us focus on providing a varied menu for our members and a full range of options for Conferencing and Banqueting is maintained throughout the year. The covers for banquets range from 3 to 452, Garden parties run to 650.
Working in a small team, we are seeking a full-time Junior Sous Chef to prepare and deliver all aspects of food service for the College, Members, guests and conference guests to the highest standards. You will deputise running the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef and Sous Chef.
We are looking for someone who has experience working as a Chef at a similar level of responsibility. Experience of producing food for banquets or large volume events is desirable.
The working pattern will be 37.5 hours per week, working 3.5 days over 7 including alternate weekends.
