SKILLS AND BACKGROUND
You must have a minimum of 2 years of previous experience working in a busy kitchen environment
Fast learner- curious, proud, and confident in dealing with your team
You must have a good understanding of working safely
Advanced knowledge of food safety compliance
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Good knowledge of stock systems and stock controls

Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Help each other / think about your team
- To cook all dishes in a timely manner, consistently achieving the established agreed standards of service
- To record all stock accurately, including charges for packages, be responsible for any dietary requirements received from guests
- Ensure that high hygiene and cleanliness are maintained by following all cleaning practices
- Know your Health at Work and Safety and Food Safety responsibilities, and follow all measures accordingly
- To work alongside the Head Chef, Sous chef and management team in creating and delivering ongoing training
- To have a good knowledge and understanding of all food and packages presentation and the correct cooking procedure
- Record all the compliance safety checks on a daily basses
- To communicate with the head chef regarding any problems or concerns with food orders / pre-orders
- Attend training sessions and team meetings as required and be involved in and contribute to these
