Description:

Daikan is looking for a dedicated and proactive Junior Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will assist the management team in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional service and efficiency within the restaurant environment.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of front-of-house operations and customer service principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in handling customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the F&B industry.
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Team Support: Assist in managing front-of-house staff, providing guidance, support, and training as needed. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Operational Oversight: Help oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure standards are met in service, cleanliness, and efficiency. Ensure smooth service flow during peak times and manage unexpected situations effectively.
  • Customer Service: Interact with guests to enhance their dining experience and address any concerns or feedback. Strive to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Shift Management: Assist in preparing shift schedules, allocating tasks, and ensuring that all areas of the restaurant are adequately staffed. Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Training and Development: Participate in training new staff members on restaurant policies, procedures, and standards. Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
  • Inventory Control: Help manage inventory levels, monitor supplies, and ensure the restaurant is well-stocked to meet operational needs. Assist in inventory counts and ordering supplies in collaboration with management.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards and workplace safety practices.
  • Reporting: Assist in preparing reports for management on operational performance, customer feedback, and staff issues.
