Description:

MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Four years of experience with shipping & receiving in U.S. military role
  • Requires a fundamental level of proficiency and a basic understanding of organizational policies and practices
  • Requires following safety rules, ordinary care and attention to avoid injury
  • Valid state driver’s license required
  • Requires daily on-site attendance at the designated customer facility
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to stand or walk while lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling heavy objects; requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • High degree of self-motivation

DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to package, ship, receive, distribute and track all incoming and outgoing shipments, courier packages, and mail on a daily basis
  • Knowledge of and ability to use common computer applications to generate reports, labels, etc.Experience with naval aviation supply system strongly preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Performs manual and clerical functions involved in the packaging, shipping, receiving, distribution, and tracking of all incoming and outgoing shipments, materials, and supplies received from outside vendors, couriers, and/or various departments within the customer facility in support of US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) aircraft mission operations
  • Assists in the tracking and storage of government furnished equipment (GFE)
  • Ensures all GFE and materials are readily accounted for and stored in a secure and organized fashion.
  • Issues material and repaired mission-system components to multiple CONUS and OCONUS locations
  • Maintains databases for inventories of sensor parts, maintenance supplies, and aircraft mission equipment
  • Performs scheduled and unscheduled inventories of equipment and materials
  • Assists management personnel with shelf stock audits as directed
  • Transports material and mission-system components between CBP facilities in the greater Jacksonville, FL area utilizing government furnished vehicles
  • Performs corporate procurement related activities including, but not limited to: establishing new vendors, corporate credit card purchases, submitting material requisitions, assisting management and procurement staff with issuance of purchase orders, and processing material receipts to ensure prompt vendor payment
  • Organizes and maintains storage areas and office supply areas
  • Performs shelf audits to ensure accurate reconciliation of inventory records
