QUALIFICATIONS

  • Relevant Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related qualification and 2 – 4 years relevant experience in a similar role, Manufacturing environment beneficial.
  • System Administrative Experience on Microsoft systems a must.
  • MCSE - Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer Beneficial.
  • Working knowledge of IP based security systems.
  • Working knowledge of IT servicing and collaborating in an enterprise environment.

Responsibilities:

MAIN PURPOSE:

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for a crucial role in maintaining the technological infrastructure of the organization. The successful candidate is responsible for a wide array of tasks that ensure the smooth operation of IT systems. This includes installing and upgrading software/Hardware, providing systems support to staff and global IT, establishing and maintaining asset and staff security, overseeing supplier SLAs, creating activity logs for duties and maintenance. This role is hands on and requires physical collaboration with almost all team members and physical hardware onsite and remote.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES / TASKS

  • Day to Day ICT support for onsite infrastructure and Remote assets.
  • Designing and implementing technology solutions that meet the needs of the organization
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with computer systems and networks.
  • Collaborating with the IT Department to implement new systems and processes.
  • Installing computer hardware configurations and networking systems. Cisco Hardware knowledge preferred.
  • Training staff on newly installed hardware and software systems.
  • Training staff on an ad-hoc basis on best practice, new technology, operational system enhancements etc.
  • Work effectively with 3rd party suppliers to maintain and enhance ICT systems.
  • Maintain up to date and aligned assets for physical devices and software solutions.
  • Support Staff on Hardware and software trouble shooting with effective and long-term solutions.
  • Make use of auditing, Ticket management systems to measure and track SLA deliverables.
  • Documenting work, creating reports, and maintaining records of system configurations and changes.
  • Administration of windows 11, Microsoft 365, Server 2016 to 2022.
  • Administration of Active directory, Azure AD and Microsoft cloud integrations.
  • Administration of Hikvision NVR solutions, including physical maintenance, cabling and installations.
  • Physical installation of hardware, cabling and other requirements in a manufacturing environment.
  • Setting up and maintaining Assets for Staff in alignment with IT global guidelines and policies
  • Monitoring and enforcing IT Policies.
  • Managing a fleet of mobile devices onsite and remotely with effective support.
