Summary
For our OPTARION® product family, we are looking for a “Junior System Engineer for Build Management and IVV (f/m/d)” at the Immenstaad site as soon as possible.
The OPTARION® - “Agile Release Train” is responsible for the further development of a mission planning solution for helicopters.
Our team convinces with innovative solutions for the entire product lifecycle - from the determination of customer needs and the derivation of corresponding requirements, through the conception and development of the systems to installation and integration at the customer’s site.
On the one hand, the existing build management environment (CI / CD) is to be recorded, optimized and kept productive. On the other hand, the large-scale modernization of our platform, including new network architectures, is to be significantly advanced and put on a future-proof footing. We are looking for a real doer who tackles and implements things and has the necessary awareness for a high level of documentation.

Your Tasks

  • Independent recording and documentation of the current status of the continuous integration / continuous delivery pipelines (CI / CD)
  • Support in the planning and estimation (technical design, feasibility) of the entire integration / deployment / delivery pipeline
  • Responsible realization of the work for CI / CD (specification, implementation and testing)
  • Analysis of technical problems at system level
  • Support with acceptance tests and integration at helicopter system level
  • Evaluating and responding to technical requests (internal / external) in consultation with the team leader

Your Profile

  • Completed studies in engineering, information systems or comparable
  • Experience in the use of scripting languages (PowerShell, Perl) and IT networks
  • Basic understanding and practical knowledge of CI / CD tools (Jenkins)
  • Technical understanding to analyze complex technical problems and evaluate proposed solutions
  • Quick comprehension and very good analytical skills
  • Willingness to work on site at the customer’s premises
  • Business fluent German and good English skills
