  • Currently studying towards a degree in Economics/Finance/Accounting
  • Enthusiasm to work effectively as a part of a team.
  • Strong IT skills preferential, especially in Microsoft Excel, although training will be provided.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and problem solving skills.
  • Flexible team member able to multi-task and act on initiative.

Responsibilities:

OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB – INTERNATIONAL TAX & FINANCE

  • The Junior Analyst in the International tax & finance team will be involved in all aspects of the day to day work of the team.
  • The successful applicant will gain a valuable insight into how an International tax & finance department operates within a multinational group. This will provide you with an excellent basis for a future career in finance or tax.
  • The role will closely support the International tax & finance team and will directly contribute to the performance of the team.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Provide extensive support to international tax team work. This work will involve liaising with the global finance teams.
  • Assisting quarterly and year end international tax accounting work, including assisting the review of tax accounting information submitted from international group companies, enabling forecasts & analyses and utilising software for efficiencies.
  • Reviewing and summarising tax accounting information in SAP and PeopleSoft ERPs.
  • Assisting international tax & finance projects. This can involve project management, financial modelling and forecasting work.
  • Providing support to analyse and research any ad hoc international tax issues arising.
