Trinity Underwriting Managers Ltd. is looking for a Junior Underwriter to join our Financial Lines team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least one year of relevant underwriting experience in Financial Lines / D&O
• CIP or RPLU an asset
• A commitment to superior underwriting results while also understanding the importance of production
• A track record of customer service / client service experience

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Experience:

• Financial Lines / D&O Underwriting: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON M5H 3T

• Evaluating new business opportunities and renewals in accordance with company guidelines and local management direction subject to personal authority level.
• Cultivating or maintaining relationships with existing brokers to support a continuing flow of business opportunities.
• Applying risk judgement to analyze and quote new business accounts driving new business production.
• Enabling and encouraging learning and development in more junior team members, including developing, hosting and/or leading training seminars.
