We are looking for a dedicated and hard-working Junior Water Resources Engineer to join our accomplished team! This role will be based in one of our 11 office locations.
THE QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS WE ARE LOOKING FOR.
- A degree in Civil Engineering or Water Resources Engineering.
- EIT or relevant professional designation, or eligible.
- 2+ years of consulting experience related to water resource engineering design and construction.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil3d for civil design and drawing production.
- Construction management and field experience.
- Effective analytical and technical writing skills with the ability to produce high quality reports and proposals.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality, and excellence.
- Effective and demonstrated communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, well organized, motivated, and self- managed.

Responsibilities:
Your role will require you to bring a high standard of technical excellence to your daily work. Main responsibilities of the role include:
- Engineering design and analysis to support habitat restoration, river engineering, and water management projects.
- Civil design and drafting to support development of project deliverables including calculations, reports, construction cost estimates and drawings.
- Planning, design, and execution of engineering designs and studies focused on fisheries and aquatic resources.
- Reporting and presenting findings to clients, regulators, Indigenous groups, and other stakeholders.
- Working as a member of an interdisciplinary team, collaborating with your colleagues to maximize work productivity and quality.
