Description:
JUNIPER DATA CENTER NETWORK ENGINEER .
iVedha is looking for a person with very strong NETWORK ENGINEERING experience in Data Centers with JUNIPER products. In addition, if that person also has Infiniband experience that would be a bonus.
Key Skills and Responsibilities:
· Technical Expertise:
· Deep understanding of Juniper data center product lines (QFX, EX, MX) and their features.
· Expertise in configuring and troubleshooting advanced routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, ISIS.
· Knowledge of data center switching protocols including VLANs, Trunking, LACP, STP, and VXLAN.
· Familiarity with EVPN for large-scale data center fabric deployments.
· Understanding of data center design principles, including spine-leaf architecture.
· Experience with network segmentation and security concepts within a data center environment.
· Implementation and Deployment:
· Ability to design, implement, and manage complex data center network infrastructure using Juniper devices.
· Hands-on experience with configuration management tools like Junos CLI, J-Web, and potentially automation scripts (Python, Ansible).
· Troubleshooting network connectivity issues and performance bottlenecks within a data center environment.
· Network Management and Monitoring:
· Experience with network monitoring tools to identify and resolve issues proactively.
· Knowledge of network management protocols like SNMP and ability to configure alerts and reporting.
· Understanding of network performance metrics and analysis.
· Collaboration and Communication:
· Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams (system administrators, security engineers, application developers).
· Ability to document network designs, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
· Stakeholder management and presenting technical information to non-technical audiences.
