Description:
JOB SUMMARY
Reporting directly to the Facility Administrator, responsible for assisting in the oversight of the daily operations and staff within Juvenile Services related to the CORE Residential Treatment Program and Juvenile Justice Alternative Education Program (JJAEP), or the pre-adjudication Detention Center.
IRREGULAR HOURS
- Serves on-call on a 24-hour basis
- Requires flexibility to work: days, evenings and/or weekend hours
- Ability to work scheduled Saturdays supervising juvenile programs
- May be deemed essential personnel in the event of an emergency

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, psychology or a related field (see licensure requirements below) three (3) years of full-time work experience in a juvenile supervision related field
- One (1) year of experience in a supervisory role
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be at least 21 years of age and have a non-disqualifying criminal history per Texas Administrative Code Sections 344.200 and 344.400
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in criminal justice or related field
- Four (4) years of full-time work experience in a juvenile supervision related field
- Two (2) years of experience in a supervisory role
