MŌ TĒNEI MAHI | ABOUT THIS JOB
We are seeking a dedicated Kaiako to join our team delivering Te Tohu Reo Rumaki (Level 5), an immersive and enriching learning experience. This is a permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week) position, based at our Māngere campus in Auckland. This role starts in January 2025.
As a Kaiako, you will inspire and guide tauira on their journey to fluency in te reo Māori, fostering both language proficiency and cultural understanding. You will develop and implement lesson plans, create an engaging learning environment, and tailor your teaching to meet the unique needs of each tauira. Collaboration and rangahau are integral to this role, as is a commitment to upholding the values and vision of Te Wānanga o Aotearoa.
