Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting a Kairuruku - Research Assistant to join Te Kura Waihanga - School of Architecture on an 8-month fixed-term contract. This is a full-time role, but we may consider a part-time role for an applicant with the required experience.
The successful candidate will provide research assistance to the Pūkenga - Lecturer in Architectural Science and Sustainable Systems Design for research work exploring life cycle assessment methods by assisting with the performance of the following tasks.

Key responsibilities:

• Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) modelling in OpenLCA for various products, materials, and impact assessment methods.
• Preparing Iterative LCA modelling reports for high carbon life cycle stages.
• Carrying out a comparative review of impact assessment methods as directed.
