Position Summary:
As a Keepstock Inventory Specialist you will work to deliver an excellent customer experience as a dedicated resource to our customer, managing inventory at their locations . Duties may include managing Grainger and non-Grainger inventory within a customer tool crib or campus, product management, participating in business reviews, navigating complex and robust computer programs, managing supplier relationships, and procurement responsibilities.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE (YOU HAVE):
- College Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in related field preferred.
- Demonstrated commitment to provide superior customer service
- Effective communication, comfortable interacting with customers, internal and external partners and suppliers in a professional manner
- Must be comfortable navigating complex and robust computer systems and technology and able to learn and adopt required software, apps, smartphones, scanners and programs efficiently.
- Able to operate powered industrial equipment as needed.
- Must be self-directed and able to manage several projects simultaneously.
- Background checks, drug screening may be required (as warranted by Company, customer or DOT requirements in working on-site and/or operating equipment)
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license in province of residence.
OTHER WORK REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift 25 to 60 lbs. and/or occasionally work in difficult positions.
- Will work at customers’ facilities. This is typically a manufacturing plant type of facility. Conditions can be noisy, and space can be limited
- Physical requirements include moving from one place to another, reaching, lifting, climbing, standing and bending

Facilitate an excellent customer experience by resolving problems promptly and accurately in a manner that will retain and promote customer loyalty. Effectively collaborate with internal and external partners. Apply continuous improvement methodologies, lean & 5S philosophy to all aspect of principal duties. Comply with all safety and inspection requirements of Grainger and the facility where the service is being provided.
