Brook Falls Veterinary Hospital & Exotic Care has an opportunity for a
Part-Time Kennel Assistant to join our team and help care for our furry friends!
Location: N48 W14850 W. Lisbon Road, Menomonee Falls, WI 53051
Shift Details: This is a Part Time position (under 30 hours/week) working Mon-Thur 3:30-7:30pm and some Saturdays
Pay Range: $14.00 - $17.00/hour (based on experience)
What We Are Looking For: We are seeking an ideal candidate with experience in doggy daycare or pet boarding facilities, preferred but not required. We do lodge exotics, dogs and cats. The ideal candidate must be comfortable with all species. Animal handling experience is also preferred but not required. Candidates must have a flexible schedule, including availability for early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Confidence around animals and pets.
• Knowledge of proper animal restraint techniques.
• Knowledge of infectious diseases and how to control and prevent their spread.
• Must have reasoning, remembering, mathematics, and language ability (reading, writing, and ability to speak the English language) to perform the duties proficiently.
• Must be in the process of obtaining or have attained a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
