Description:

We are looking for a new Key Account Executive at Modirum Platforms to join our Critical Communications unit in Finland, where we develop modern software solutions for critical communication users and network operators.

Our customers come from both public and private sectors, and we collaborate with global partners to deliver comprehensive, integrated solutions. At Modirum Platforms, you’ll work with a team of 14 in our unit, supported by our parent company of 250 employees.

WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU A GREAT FIT?

We’re looking for an experienced professional with a proven history in software solution sales, particularly in critical communications, telecoms, or government solutions. The ideal candidate will have excellent account management skills, advanced strategic thinking, and the ability to generate leads in new markets. You should be able to work independently and have a solid understanding of IT and mobile communications.

Required qualifications and experience:

  • Extensive experience in sales or business development
  • Proven success in selling software solutions in relevant markets
  • Existing network of contacts within the sector
  • Strong skills in strategic selling, negotiating, and project management
  • Proficiency with IT tools for communication and reporting (Microsoft Suite, CRM)
  • Language requirements: Fluent English and Finnish. French or German is a plus.

Location: Remote/Hybrid in Finland, availability to travel once or twice a month is required.

Responsibilities:

As Key Account Executive for Critical Communications, you’ll lead our software and project sales efforts in the Nordics and Central Europe. You’ll report directly to the MD of our Critical Communications unit and use your industry connections and experience to bring in new customers and manage important accounts. Your main tasks will be increasing revenue and supporting continued growth, working with senior management and partners to develop our sales strategy. As our business grows, you may have the chance to take on more responsibilities, potentially advancing to a Sales Director role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Attracting new target accounts and expanding existing ones for Modirum Platforms
  • Developing and managing key Critical Communications accounts in the region
  • Maintaining relationships with external partners
  • Developing use cases for potential customers and closing deals
  • Giving sales presentations and negotiating contracts
