YOUR SKILLS

  • University degree, preferably in Mechanical, Chemical or Electronics Engineering or Business Administration
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in the adhesives industry or in sales
  • Entrepreneurial mindset to develop a profitable business with your key accounts
  • Interest in industrial and innovative adhesive applications and the willingness to dive into new topics
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to work with online tools
  • Willingness to travel (incl. overnight stay) and ability to organize yourself in the home office , preferably in Western/Sout-Western Germany
  • Excellent or native German and very good English skills (written, oral)

Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for your key accounts based in the country cluster of DACH & Nordics
  • Be the first point of contact for your accounts operating in various market segments such as Heavy Equipment, Recreational Vehicles and Air Filtration
  • Define and execute the key account strategy and plans, supported by the latest available tools
  • Identify business opportunities and lead projects to create value at your accounts and drive growth
  • Coordinate and facilitate the exchange between international sites of your accounts and closely collaborate with other Key Account Managers to roll out customer approvals and push upstream solution selling
  • Define account-specific pricing, negotiate contracts, ensure fulfilment of commitments and implementation of the commercial policy
  • Develop and maintain sustainable and long-term relationships with key accounts across functions and sites, incl. executive levels
  • Implement events to activate your accounts and leverage new opportunities, e.g. Sustainability Workshops, Tech Days, Application Trainings or Manufacturing Excellence Programs
