REQUIREMENTS:

  • University degree, preferably in engineering (Chemical engineering preferred). Additional Business degree is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English and Hungarian. Chinese language skills would open for broader job scope.
  • Sales and business development experience, preferably with automotive adhesives, and/or battery and e-motors technologies
  • Experience in managing automotive OEM accounts and/or Tier1’s for at least 3 years and proven track record
  • Experience in building/maintaining strong relationships with Auto OEMs and Battery and e-motor producers
  • Results oriented and strong customer focused
  • Experience in driving development projects and accomplishing defined objectives/goals
  • Flexibility, willingness to work in a rapidly changing multicultural business environment.
  • Team player, strong interpersonal skills are required.
  • Be prepared for minimum 30-50% of traveling.
  • Location: Home office Hungary.

Our Adhesives and Fluids business (AAF) is looking for an experienced Key Account Manager F/M, preferably based in Hungary.
The candidate will be responsible for managing our automotive customers portfolio in the region, developing business opportunities with glass bonding, structural bonding and electromobility adhesives, supporting DuPont’s leadership within the OEM, Tiers and aftermarket customers.
The ideal candidate needs to be actively engaged in promoting DuPont Adhesives solutions in the development phases and will support the account teams in the execution of the sales. The position will include the sales management of customers in Hungary, and some adjacent countries, like Romania and Balkans countries. Also in the ideal candidate profile, Chinese language skills would add a business development role in the EMEA region to support growing Chinese customers installations.
It is expected that the candidate is able articulate the regional needs, securing the right cross functional support to reach the targets.
Specific focus will be related to the development of new business opportunities within the electromobility and battery sector.
The Key Account Manager Adhesives and Fluids will report directly to the regional sales director Adhesives.& Fluids.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive and develop Regional strategies and develop further the battery and e-motors business for AAF.
  • Identify and drive new business opportunities to achieve revenue, profit and growth targets.
  • Build efficient working relation with involved functions internally and at the customer, to ensure efficient cooperation in long term projects.
  • Deliver against the AAF business/finance plan for the assigned customer and accounts (revenues, volume, margin)
  • Negotiate regional commercial deals and manage price and margin according to the business guidelines at assigned customers
  • Develop and own accounts and related opportunities, by standard use of CRM and forecasting tools.
  • Continuously assess and optimize our route-to-market
  • Effectively manage the opportunity pipeline to sustainably grow the business over the long term.
