Responsibilities:

ROLE PURPOSE

Menzies Aviation LHR is seeking a Key Account Manager for a pivotal role at London Heathrow. This position demands a professional with in-depth product knowledge to collaborate with both Menzies Aviation ground teams and airline management. The primary objective is to uphold stringent safety regulations set by the government, the airline, and internal standards. The role encompasses ensuring safe, timely, and cost-efficient operations while delivering superior customer service, including ticketing, lounge access, passenger, and ramp handling. Candidates must have a solid background in airport or airline operations, demonstrating successful service delivery and proficiency in audit processes. The ideal applicant will be a decisive individual capable of managing crises with composure and effective contingency planning. This role is integral to maintaining the high standards of operation and service at Heathrow.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Adherence to the Menzies Health & Safety Policy Manual and international aviation standards is crucial for maintaining safety and security procedures
  • Support for the Airlines Station Managers and Menzies Senior Management is essential for the smooth operation of terminal and apron activities, including weekend shifts.
  • Building and nurturing effective relationships with customers and relevant entities is key to maximizing commercial opportunities.
  • Regular monitoring and reporting on performance against airline standards are required, with immediate action to address any deviations to meet customer expectations.
  • Implementation of robust measurement systems to track airline operations performance, coupled withtimely reporting to the Airlines Management Team, is necessary.
  • Strategic planning for staff training and development specific to airline products, both above and below the wing, ensures a skilled workforce.
  • Continuous monitoring of key customer service level indicators for the airline, with proactive planning and resourcing to address any shortcomings, is imperative.
