Description:
Our Key Account Manager - Based in Guatemala is responsible for identifying business opportunities within the market and concluding direct sales of Alfa Laval products in Food & Water related industries and services within a defined area of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Follow established sales processes and guidelines to promote and sell Alfa Laval Product and services;
2. Analyze and understand market insights and the customers buying behavior and make sales plans according to the business division strategy and targets.
3. Look for and manage leads from the market and customers, and convert them in real business opportunities in other to ensure the pipeline.
4. Be active in the market and focus on making visits, meetings and interactions to customers, focusing on customer needs understanding and highlighting the value of our products and services
5. Runs the operation by managing the customer grid and proactive planning in our tools. Build and maintain a sufficient network at customers.
6. Develop highly profitable quotes reflecting the customer needs stressing the unique selling points and follow up, and to get a hit-rate.
7. Use the CRM tool and other tools in a consistent and qualitative way, to support the sales process and take decisions
8. Be active mentor of the Service Sales team in the sales process.
9. Work proactive and structured with the sales in order to optimize the sales efficiency.
Profile: University degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical)
Skills & Knowledge:
- Advanced/Intermediate English language proficiency.
- Technical Experience, a plus but not required
- Excellent communication in Spanish and English
- Strong customer Focus
Experience: Minimum five (5) years of professional experience
