Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Head of ANL Commercial Desk, the successful candidate will manage and develop a Key Accounts clients’ portfolio within ANL Lines, from the coordination of tenders, to commercial performance monitoring.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE WILL INCLUDE:

Set up close interpersonal relationships with decision-makers and negotiators of these organizations to become privileged contact for agency / customers for commercial (negotiation, pricing, dispute) and operational follow up (allocation, empties and release)
Develop and grow the performances of a portfolio of Key Accounts in terms of target volume and/or revenues defined with the Line Management team
Ensure the elaboration of the ANL tenders for selected customer through coordination and permanent control between Tender team and Line Management
Prepare regular reports to Global, agency, state and commercial managers on tenders received, progress of tenders, and final results
Develop strategic partnerships with existing customer and capture new prospects
Organize and participate to face to face meetings with customers such as QBR/ MBR to review the customer performance on ANL trades, identify shortfalls, and implement corrective measures with the support of the Line Manger, Regional Offices and Sales agency
Guarantee coherent terms for pricing, product specifications and services in line with Line Commercial strategy and legal/ compliance

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

5 years in sales and shipping activities
High level of computer literacy, across the Microsoft office suite of programs, particularly excel/ spreadsheet databases and powerpoint
ANL’s Systems
Understanding of the Agency Business
Broad understanding of the shipping business
Statutory requirements
