Description:

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with one of our major clients where the emphasis will be on delivering & developing Sales & Production requirements for the customer, ensuring their needs are met while driving sales growth. This role requires candidates with strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively across various levels of the organisation. This is a pivotal role in long-term partnerships with our customer, ultimately contributing to the overall success of the company.

SKILLS

  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software for managing client relationships and tracking sales activities. Experience with Progress Plus ERP system would be beneficial but is not essential.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Strong attention to detail

Responsibilities:

· Liaise with and manage major customer account and provide backup support for all other customers when required

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the account stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Monitor account performance, providing regular reports and updates to the Business Manager.

· Contract review customer orders against quotations and relevant specifications.
· Using the internal Order Management System (OMS) to raise jobs for production.
· Prepare purchase orders for all material purchases or outwork operations required and progress/ chase subcontractors where necessary.
· Create the Selling/Shipping pack through the OMS.
· Respond to Open Order Report requests.
· General administration such as filing, copying/scanning and answering telephone calls.
· Maintain the customer & supplier database where required.
· Maintain customer production schedule and attend weekly meetings.
· Maintain filing systems, both hard copy and electronic.
· Diligent adherence to Company Procedures, Quality and any Non-Conformances reported.
