Description:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as Key Account Manager, Account Manager or Sales Manager in automotive industry
  • Basic knowledge of construction of heavy vehicles and experience in aftersales
  • Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs
  • Experience in tenders is an advantage
  • Solid mathematics and finance experience, you are able to calculate complex offers and work with revenue, margin, ROS figures
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Speak and write fluently Norwegian and English at business level. If you also speed German that’s a plus, but not a requirement
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office, knowledge of principles working in SAP, Oracle, Salesforce or other ERP/CRM applications
    The position belongs to the Customer Service Management team at MAN Truck & Bus Norge AS. Your workplace will be our headoffice in Fjellhamar. However, the job will entail travel activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Conistently address KA concerns and offer clear and concise responses to their queries
  • Aquire a thorough understanding of KA needs and requirements
  • Maintain and expand the relationships with existing KAs by continously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
  • Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to KAs in a timely manner
  • Serve as the leading effective link of communication between KA and internal teams to ensure client needs are met
  • Resolve any issues and problems faced by KA and deal with complaints to maintain trust
  • Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships (directly: spare parts, repair and maintenance contracts, extended warranties, digital products; indirectly: new vehicle sales)
  • Provide regular reports of progress and forecasts of KAs to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities in order to develop strategic sales plans
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth and success of the company

Tasks:

  • Calculate a Customer Service annual potential (total, open, adressable)
  • Define and validate measures, actions, attack lists to improve and increase service products
  • Initiate campaigns, incentive programs, tailored solutions to increase company revenue and profitability
  • Initiate and continously lead - in collaboration with sales teams - customer service meetings with KA responsibles with appropriate documentation (agenda, minutes, reports, action plans, etc.)
  • Support sales teams in tenders and negotiations with calculations, solutions preparations, etc.
  • Elaborate continous communication with own retail as well as private capital dealers locations on service to KAs, follow up of assigned actions
  • Lead central recall, technical and service campaigns coordination on company level towards KAs
  • Evaluate and assure together with the service team that all service locations are qualified on the level expected by KAs
  • Set up at structure and process to react on KAs complaints, requests, leads and suggestions on time (KPIs, steering, control, clear timeline and responsibles)
  • Calculate and make offers with Customer Service products
  • Organize an expansion, optimization and implementation of the processes, methods and tools required for KA business
