Description:
We - MT Aerospace - are part of the OHB Space and Technology Group. As a leading international aerospace company, we develop, manufacture and test essential components for launcher programs such as Ariane, the U.S. Space Launch System (SLS) as well as commercial launcher systems, the Airbus fleet, spacecrafts, satellites and defense applications. Your Tasks
- Acquisition of new business in the defence sector (new customers and new products)
- Positioning the company as a system and component provider in the growth area of defence and establishing an industry network (air, naval and land systems)
- Development of a coherent strategy, creation of capture plans and roadmaps for technically scalable products tailored to customer needs
- Preparation of offers and conducting negotiations, management of internal sales processes, including expectation, offer and order planning in coordination with the service areas and the commercial area
- Attending customer meetings, preparing sales presentations
- Integrating market and customer requirements into the product and technology roadmap
Your Qualifications
- Completed technical studies, preferably specialising in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or similar
- Good knowledge of the German and European defence landscape, personal network desirable
- Entrepreneurial thinking with a strong customer focus and strong closing skills
- Good analytical skills with strengths in conceptualising and presenting complex issues
- Cooperative leadership style and strong coordination skills
- Convincing appearance in personal dialogue and presentations
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Confident in Microsoft Office applications, MS Project
