Job Summary
As an Account Manager, you would have the responsibility to develop and manage the account strategy and commercial relationship for the assigned account(s) in the Fine Fragrances industry. You will manage all aspects of the selling process, developing key relationships at the customer throughout all levels & functions as well as with key influencers. You must have the skills to develop a deep understanding of the customer’s business and identify opportunities to grow.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

In this position you will manage and execute the following activities:

  • Be accountable for the account strategy, action plan, and development program pipeline required to grow or expand the business
  • Develop a deep understanding of the customer’s business and growth objectives
  • Be strategic: maintain and develop a long-term pipeline, innovation objectives and deliverables to deliver growth in coordination with BU Functions and the regions
  • Drive and meet sales and profit goals
  • Manage and build relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders at the customer and within IFF
  • Be accountable and ensure broad coordination and resource deployment to achieve growth goals
  • Serve as a role model to others.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven Business development and/or Key Account management experience in the Fine Fragrances field
  • Strong commercial background and strong demonstrated competency in Sales, Marketing, Fragrance Evaluation or Business Development roles
  • Deep understanding of business growth processes and portfolio management
  • Fluent in English
