JOB SUMMARY

This is a full-time role for an Account Manager, responsible for driving sales to grow SiTime’s revenue in the DACH region. Success in this role will require proactively managing commercial activities to win new projects within existing Strategic and Focus accounts and developing relationships with new key customers.
The Account Manager will play a leading role in expanding market share across various segments, including Industrial and Aerospace & Defense, with a specific emphasis on the Automotive market. To achieve rapid growth, the candidate will leverage a broad range of resources within SiTime and work closely with local distributors.
In addition, the Account Manager should have a solid understanding of the semiconductor industry and the ability to effectively promote SiTime’s innovative MEMS timing products. This includes comprehending customers’ timing design challenges and articulating SiTime’s unique solutions to address those needs.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS (EDUCATION MUST BE INCLUDED):

  • Sales, Account Management, and Customer Relationship Management skills
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Fluency in German for the DACH region
  • Experience with semiconductor with analog or timing products is a plus
  • Master degree in Engineering required

Responsibilities:

  • Drive Sales Growth by accelerate sales revenue within the automotive and assigned account customer base, focusing on meeting and exceeding sales targets in the region.
  • Manage identified key accounts within the territory, fostering relationships to enhance sales growth and client retention.
  • Present product offerings and services to purchasing teams, engineers, and management at strategic accounts with a polished, professional approach to support account growth.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer support on commercial topics, including handling PPAPs (Production Part Approval Process), RFQs (Requests for Quotation), and other inquiries.
  • Lead and participate in annual supplier negotiations to ensure alignment with customer and company goals.
  • Provide market intelligence and competitive feedback to the company, offering insights on competitor moves and suggesting new product ideas or enhancements based on customer needs.
  • Maintain and update customer data in the CRM (Salesforce) accurately, tracking sales opportunities, design-ins, design wins, and production status to support the sales pipeline.
  • Prepare and provide precise business forecasts for use in capacity planning, resource allocation, and sales strategy prioritization.
  • Collaborate with internal resources, including engineers and management, to ensure customer requirements are met and to enhance overall account satisfaction.
