As a Key Account Manager within the Global Account Program, you will guide major industrial clients through their entire commercial journey, from relationship management to business development. YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

  • Bachelor’sdegree in International Business Studies or Supply Chain. Masters in same willbe a plus.
  • 5-10 years in account management or consultative sales within logistics or supply chain sectors.
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of supply chain logistics (air, sea, road, and contract logistics).
  • Proven ability to develop and execute account strategies for high-profile clients.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales management tools.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Willingness to travel and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

YOUR ROLE

The Key Account Manager (KAM) leads the full commercial customer journey for a dedicated portfolio of industrial clients. Acting as the primary Kuehne + Nagel representative, the KAM builds strong relationships with key stakeholders, translates business insights into actionable account plans, and ensures comprehensive solutions that drive client success. This role requires expert knowledge of Kuehne + Nagel’s vertical services and effective collaboration with internal teams.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and grow assigned Key Accounts to meet company goals and build deep client relationships.
  • Conduct contract negotiations in alignment with business units, ensuring compliance and documentation.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of Kuehne + Nagel’s service offerings across logistics modes.
  • Develop and execute account plans, conducting structured review sessions with clients.
  • Monitor monthly performance metrics and address deviations to meet targets.
  • Engage with client executives and logistics management, providing consultative sales solutions.
  • Ensure smooth business transitions to operations, meeting client and company expectations.
  • Represent Kuehne + Nagel in industry networks to strengthen brand expertise.
