Description:

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing and nurturing key client accounts, ensuring their logistics needs are met with the highest level of service and satisfaction. This role involves developing strong relationships with clients, understanding their business requirements, and coordinating with internal teams to deliver tailored logistics solutions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Client Relationship Management:
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
  • Understand client business goals and logistics requirements to provide customized solutions.
  1. Business Development:
  • Identify opportunities to grow business within existing key accounts.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to expand service offerings and increase account revenue.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  1. Account Management:
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of logistics services to key accounts.
  • Monitor account performance and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Conduct regular reviews with clients to assess satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
  1. Coordination and Collaboration:
  • Work closely with internal teams, including operations, customer service, and finance, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Coordinate with logistics providers and partners to meet client requirements.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between clients and internal teams.
  1. Performance Tracking and Reporting:
  • Track key account metrics and prepare regular reports on account performance.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on account performance analysis.
  1. Problem Resolution:
  • Proactively identify and address potential issues that may impact client satisfaction.
  • Resolve client complaints and problems in a timely and effective manner.
  • Implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of issues.
