Responsibilities:

ABOUT YOUR FUTURE ROLE

You will be part of the Retail Sales Team in the Large & Key Accounts Sales Department based in Eschborn. As Key Account Manager Retail, you will contribute to grow and develop a portfolio of existing Key Accounts in the Retail Vertical.

Your key responsibilities in this role will be:

  • Meet/exceed annual budget/sales targets
  • Penetrating the relevant key accounts in order to identify, qualify and implement cross- and up-selling potential
  • Calculation, creation and tracking of multi-level offers, tenders and contracts as well as the preparation and implementation of sales negotiations at the highest hierarchy level
  • Potential analysis and identification of customer requirements as well as evaluation of implementation options based on the complete product, service and solution portfolio
  • Creation of key account strategy/growth plans

Qualifications needed to be successful in this role:

  • Several years of experience in sales in a related industry as well as in-depth industry knowledge
  • Excellent negotiation skills and confidence in closing deals on C-level
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree: Focus on economics, business informatics, electronic business, e-commerce or similar, or a comparable qualification
  • Experience with payment service providers, acquirers or credit card companies desirable
  • Business fluent knowledge of German and English
  • Proficient PC knowledge (MS Office), SAP R3 is an advantage
  • Driver’s licens
