Description:
At Miele the opportunities are endless, supporting the growth plans for both market share and margin within our key customers to achieve success. You will co create the sales execution plans and provide cross functional support to deliver results within their customer bases as a Key Account Manager. You will be working with our National Kitchen Retail partners to drive profitability and volume sales performance.
Responsibilities:
Working with a portfolio of partners, you will drive share, sales & margin in order to achieve commercial success. Drive financial planning of the customer through business scenario planning, annual terms changes, budget management to P&L guidelines, & governance on key KPIs for the retailer. You will then deploy tactical campaigns via the field based business development team to activate these plans and achieve our collective goals.
We want you to create compelling customer engagement with the Miele business, have a category mindset within which you can place Miele plans in the context of the customer total category. Through your previous experience you will have the gravitas, change agility & people influencing skills to guide both the customer and internal stakeholders to change, adapt or deliver required service levels for the end customer.
Using your creativity, you will have a passion for consumer journey’s (off / online), and able to track / breakdown performance into critical sales levers that can understand and create powerful selling plans with customers. Understanding the importance of being market aware and be able to place account plans within wider business planning processes so that all other channel dynamics are properly considered.
You will bring a good level of intelligence and commercial experience, be human focussed. We will look to see how your previous experience as a National Account Manager would add value to our organisation and future aspirations, and that you are passionate about the benefits of the Miele product range can offer to our customers. Additional skills developed through time working in different functions across Marketing and Finance would be advantageous to your application. The role requires a strong analytical mindset and excellent excel capability.
We don’t always expect experience of working with home appliances, we would always look for the ability to apply your experience of managing retailer relationships and strategy to our market in particular within a lifestyle or premium goods brand.
