Description:

DESIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Fluent in English and German, any additional language (preference for Swedish but not a must) is an advantage.
  • The job is home office based.
  • Travelling up to 30% of the time.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Able to manage his own logistics (flights – hotels – car rentals booking) and expenses.
  • Good understanding of financials (P&L, gross margin, EBIT, etc…)
  • Ability to balance ‘independent work’ and ‘be part of a team’.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities:

JOB PURPOSE:

Manage OEM’s relationship (OTR) and protect extremely profitable business in the North EU part of the EMEA region. OE KAM’s for OTR are strategic position from a profitability standpoint.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key OEM’s
  • Understand OEM’s global strategy, including potential relocation of production lines.
  • Be the Goodyear point of contact for key accounts, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
  • Conduct regular business and technical meetings with OEM’s, reviewing performance, open topics, discuss opportunities and strategies for future growth.
  • Assure GY presence on demo machines at fairs, control forecast accuracy, connect with our automotive engineer to monitor specific tire approvals.

Performance Analysis:

  • Track and analyze key account performance vs plan.
  • Monitor customer supplier KPI + maintain / improve current ranking, targeting excellence.

Market and Industry Insights:

  • Provide market input for product roadmap review and OE quarterly industry reviews.
  • Stay focused on industry trends (electrification, autonomous, sustainability etc.), announcements in specialized press, market conditions, and competitor activities.

Contract and Negotiation:

  • Negotiate new / reconduct existing contracts on terms & conditions, pricing etc… with key OEM’s, supported by legal department.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and address any contract-related issues.

Back-office activities:

  • Participate in monthly KAM forecast review (prechecking customer forecast recent changes). This position has a direct impact on production output.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (sales, supply chain, marketing, product development, customer support) to ensure client requirements are met.
  • Maintain pricing with back-office and be the full owner of pricing sox compliance.
  • Contribute with crucial input for annual operating plan and 5 years horizon sales strategy.
  • Guiding and motivating internal teams to achieve client goals and ensure high-quality service delivery.
