Description:

The Key Account Manager, together with the Technical Coordinator, represents ArcelorMittal at the clients in the philosophy of “one face to the customer”.
You will be responsible for the sales development in coordination with the following teams: marketing, demand planning, sustainability (XCarb), client technical support, mills, customer service, pricing control.
Packaging represents a significant market for steel within ArcelorMittal with many key challenges and opportunities. Climate change policies are setting a new paradigm for the whole steel markets in particular for Packaging market with some upwards potential thanks to momentum on circular economy and on plastic-bashing but with also some downward risks due to competition by other materials, lighter & less volatile in price (though less recycled), and to EU’s PPWD pushing for packaging reduction, re-use and recyclability of which recycled content.
CMO Packaging ambitions are to grow by convincing all stakeholders that steel for packaging is the most sustainable material.
The Key Account Manager position will be part of CMO Automotive Packaging Electrical Steels. Join us if you have the ambition to be an actor of the transformation to a sustainable world.

The mission is to:

  • Develop the sales
  • Define budget following commercial strategy for the accounts
  • Determine price offers for customers with a strategic thinking mindset
  • Develop customers intimacy and manage the development of the commercial relationship
  • Lead the commercial team of these automotive accounts

Your role will include activities such as:

  • Ensure full market analysis of your customers perimeter with Marketing team support. Coordinate local Marketing Intelligence activities and report to CMO

o Centralize and share information concerning market, customers production, awards, potentials developments

  • Propose business plan for perimeter

o Monitor and analyze pricing within your perimeter
o Push new products and service deployment at your customer base

o Conduct negotiation in commercial setting

  • Negotiate and implement sales contracts

o Follow up of volume and price agreements of the local entity by connecting with the demand planning and price controlling teams

o Monitor delivery performance. Follow up payment/credit limit

  • Monitor Client satisfaction follow up, analyze and share results with Technical team and mills.

o Organize and attend regular customer visits / create visit reports
o Evaluate claims commercial impact & ensure that follow up actions are implemented
o Develop customer intimacy and obtain feedback, collect market info to support strategic decisions

Education

  • Master in Business Development/Marketing, or in Industrial Engineering
  • English at Professional Level and any other European language is an asset

Experience

  • 5 years of experience in B to B sales

Requirements :

  • Travel flexibility: Over 50%
