In Signify UK&I we’re looking for a self-motivated and customer-facing Key Account Manager Professional Projects to join our Lighting Sales team in Ireland. This role is home-based, ideally from the Dublin area.

As a Key Account Manager Professional Projects, you will focus on managing and expanding street lighting projects, transitioning towards indoor lighting and systems sales. You will collaborate closely with a supportive team, build strong relationships with local authorities and contractors, and aim to achieve sales targets.
The role requires Industry knowledge, particularly in solution selling and connected systems, a driven personality, and eagerness to learn about new sales strategies and product offerings.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • You have a least 3 to 5 years of proven track record in key account management and consultative selling principles in a fast-paced technology industry.
  • Understanding or previous experience in the outdoor road lighting industry in the UK&I is required.
  • Industry knowledge, particularly in solution selling and connected systems.
  • You are based in Dublin to easily access and understand the local market and customer base.
  • Must be driven, with a strong desire to win new business and learn about the industry. Excellent relationship-building skills are crucial, especially with local authorities for the specific area.
  • You must be eager to learn and adapt to new sales strategies and product offerings.
  • You understand Technology/Software & Connectivity domains.
  • Willingness to adapt to new market demands and opportunities.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Manage and expand street lighting projects, with an emphasis on transitioning towards indoor lighting and systems sales to diversify the business offerings.
  • Work within a close-knit team, leveraging support from system architects and technical backup to meet customer needs effectively.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities and contractors, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Achieve sales targets by identifying new business opportunities, especially in Road & Street Projects.
