Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the National Sales Director, the Key Account Manager serves the territory that covers Canada, more specifically Quebec, Ontario and the West Region. He is responsible for managing Major National accounts in the value-added lettuce known as fresh Attitude brand. The primary workplace is in Toronto and the interaction with the head office will be telecommuting. He ensures that the company’s sales objectives are met and is strategically involved in maintaining the organization’s strong growth rate and sustainability.
ACQUIRE AND IMPROVE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Be familiar with all the products offered by partner farms in Quebec and British Columbia in terms of added value.
- To perfect your knowledge of the vegetable market, and sales strategies.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS SOUGHT
- College or university degree in business administration or a related field, with a specialization in sales or marketing;
- More than ten (10) years of experience in sales and marketing in retail or food industry or agribusiness;
- Perfect bilingualism, French and English, in both written and oral communications in order to serve local markets in Ontario and British Columbia;
- Demonstrated strong negotiation and influence skills;
- Has impeccable professional ethics;
- Has an excellent network of contacts in the food industry;
- Excellent communicator with a very customer-oriented approach and business needs;
- Good negotiation and persuasion skills;
- Strong business acumen;
- Excellent listening skills;
- Team player, enthusiastic and determined;
- Exemplary, committed, organized and efficient rigor
- Has strategic business acumen;
- Has a valid driver’s license;
- Has a passport that is valid for the required period;
- Available for travel, anywhere in Canada and also outside the country;
- Intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and Outlook) and Retail Link and/or I-commerce
